Postwar VW is an aircooled VW repair and restoration shop located in Half Moon Bay, CA, about 25 miles south of San Francisco. Our goal is to bring classic VW's back to life and provide expert repair services. We take pride in our adaptive approach to restoration and our commitment to quality worksmanship.

We specialize in Type 1 (Beetle), Type 2 (Bus), Type 3/4 (Squareback/Fastback/Notchback/Karmann Ghia), and Type 181 (Thing), but can also address Vanagons, Jettas, Rabbits, and air-cooled Porsche's.
